 Millfair Compost and Recycling Center (Part-Time) Minimize

Millcreek Township has a part-time opening at our Millfair Compost and Recycling Center.  The recycling center collects various yard wastes (leaf waste, shrubbery, brush and tree trimmings) and processes it into usable products (compost, mulch, and wood chips).

The ideal candidate would have experience operating heavy equipment including high lifts, skid steers, backhoes, front end loaders and have the ability to learn to operate specialized pieces of composting and recycling equipment. Duties include operation of heavy equipment; providing assistance and information to residential and commercial waste generators; maintaining the Recycling Center’s yard, buildings, and equipment. Enthusiasm about recycling is a must!

This is a part-time, seasonal position, April 1 to December 1.

 Police Dispatcher (Part-Time) Minimize

Millcreek Township has part-time openings for Dispatchers in the Police Department. 

We are looking for experienced individuals to receive emergency and non-emergency requests for police assistance.

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid PA drivers license.  A.P.C.O. Public Safety Telecommunicator Certification and one year of dispatching experience is preferred.  A post-offer, pre-employment background and criminal history investigation is required.   

This position requires rotating shift assignments, as well as work on nights, weekends and holidays.
