2016 Calendar Photography Showcase!

The State of Pennsylvania has established rules for trash and recycling removal through Act 101 of 1988.

Act 101 of 1988 (Municipal Waste Planning, Recycling and Waste Reduction Act)

To comply with these requirements, Millcreek Township enacted Ordinance #97-2 and as amended, Ordinance #2006-11.

Ordinance 2006-11 (Millcreek Township Municipal Waste and Recycling Ordinance)

As a result of this legislation, all residential and commercial properties MUST be signed up for trash and recycling service. Details of the requirements and consequences are available on this site or by calling the Township Recycling Office.
