Pennsylvania Law Act 101 of 1988 and Millcreek Township Ordinance No. 2006-11 are available on this site under Government/Ordinances. These laws require all commercial, industrial, and institutional establishments in Millcreek Township to recycle. ALL of the following items MUST be separated from municipal waste at generation site and recycled:

  • All Office Paper
  • Newsprint
  • Steel & Aluminum Cans
  • Plastics #1 - #2
  • Corrugated Cardboard
  • Magazines
  • Clear & Colored Glass
  • Leaf Waste

If you are not recycling the above items, if you have been told not to recycle one of the above items by your hauler, or if your hauler does not provide recycling, please call our office at 814-833-1111 ext. 317 for assistance.

Our recycling grants are based on the tonnage of material that is recycled!
