Residential Curbside Recycling

PLACE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS INTO YOUR BLUE RECYCLE BIN. BAGGING IN A CLEAR 33-GALLON BAG IS NOT REQUIRED, BUT IS SUGGESTED FOR WINDY DAYS.

  • Aluminum Can
  • Brown Paper Bags
  • Cardboard (Flattened, no larger than 4 ft. x 4ft.)
  • Drink Cartons (i.e. juice/milk cartons)
  • Envelopes/Junk Mail
  • Glass Bottles & Jars (Any Color)
  • Magazines/Catalogs
  • Newspaper
  • Paperboard Boxes (i.e. cereal boxes)
  • Plastics #1 through #7 labeled with RECYCLE SYMBOL (no smaller than 2" x 2" and no larger than a 5 gallon bucket)
  • Shredded Paper (Bagged)
  • Steel Cans
  • Tin Cans & Foil

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS CANNOT BE RECYCLED IN THE BLUE BIN!

  • Plastic Retail/Grocery Bags
  • Foam To-Go Boxes, Containers, Coolers, Cups, etc.
  • Wood
  • Pizza Boxes
  • Motor Oil, Paint, Hazardous Chemicals
  • Tires
  • Automotive Parts
  • Outside Plastic Furniture
  • Vinyl Siding
  • Clothes Hangers
  • Detergent Boxes
  • Window Glass
  • Light Bulbs
  • PVC Piping
  • Plastic Toys & Patio Furniture
  • Aluminum Siding
  • Ziploc Bags
  • CD Casings
  • Plastic Silverware
  • Computers
  • Drinking Glasses
  • Metal Cookware
  • Wood Pallets

PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING:

  • Please rinse all containers
  • Have trash and recycling at curb no later that 6:00am
  • Place recyclables away from trash for a more efficient pick up

You are permitted ONE bulk item per week.

(Furniture, mattresses, appliances or items that will not fit into a bag)
EXCEPTION – Refrigerators, Freezers, Dehumidifiers and Air Conditioners that contain Freon!
