Energy Education Library

In 2009, Millcreek Township was awarded $491,600 through the Federal Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) to promote energy conservation and alternative energy production.  With these funds, the Township was able to increase roofing insulation, install photovoltaic retrofits (solar panels) to the municipal building, and promote an educational program to the public using workshops, brochures, videos, magazine articles, and a lending Energy Education Library.

The Recycling Department's Energy Education Library consists of books, DVDs, energy kits, Kinex sets, and energy efficiency tools.  Please contact or stop into the Recycling Department office if you are interested in signing out materials from the bookshelf.
