Streets Department Facts
The Millcreek Township Streets Department is comprised of:
- 1 Head Foreman
- 1 Assistant Head Foreman
- 1 Secretary
- 4 Foremen
- 27 Operator / Laborers
- Over 63 pieces of equipment
The Streets Department is in the charge of two Road Masters:
Joe Kujawa is Road Master for East Millcreek.
Brian McGrath is Road Master for West Millcreek.
Interstate 79 being the dividing line.
The Street department maintains 167.73 miles of Blacktop roadways and 39.24 miles of Tar & Chip roadways spread out over 29.5 square miles.
We handle over 1300 incidents a year in addition to normal work duties which include:
- paving
- plowing
- reclaiming
- milling
- storm sewers
