Millcreek Names New Chief Code Enforcement Officer
For Immediate Release: June 14, 2023
MILLCREEK, PA – Millcreek Township Supervisor, Jim Bock, swore in Shalan Anderson, the new chief code enforcement officer on June 14, 2023.
The promotion fills the vacancy left by the departure of Krista Arnold who accepted the position of director of operations at the Erie County Land Bank.
“I’m excited to continue serving the Millcreek community,” said Anderson.
Anderson was previously a code enforcement officer and started as a code enforcement clerk. She simultaneously holds the title of emergency management coordinator and oversees Millcreek’s emergency responses preparedness. As chief code enforcement officer, Anderson will oversee all Bureau of Code Enforcement operations.
The purpose of the Bureau of Code Enforcement is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public in buildings and structures. It enforces the International Property Maintenance Code and International Fire Code as adopted by Millcreek Township. Code Enforcement is under the Department of Planning and Development.
